Minnesota Gamers’ invites gamers from around the region and beyond to gather at our annual celebration of gaming; the Minnesota Gamers’ Convention, or MGCON as it is more commonly known as.  MGCON is celebrate annually on the weekend prior to American* Thanksgiving at a location in the Twin Cities Metro Area.

The hobby of gaming is about gathering with friends and enjoying interesting and challenging games.  Games played by gamers include Board Games, Card Games, Computer Games, Miniature Games, Role Playing Games, and many many other variants of games.   A wise person once said “I cannot clearly define it, but I know exactly what it is when I see it”, which is very true with the hobby of gaming.

For the past three years MGCON has been held at the Holiday Inn – St. Paul East Hotel and Convention Center.   The Holiday Inn is conveniently located five minutes east of downtown St. Paul, one block south of Interstate 94 on the corner of McKnight Road and Burns Ave and is visible from the interstate.

Over the years we have a number of spectacular miniatures events, board game challenges, Weekend Long Role Playing Adventures and so on and so forth.  We look forward to continuing the tradition.

*As pointed out by some of our Canadian Attendees their Thanksgiving is October.
